TIPS FOR MAKING CHEESY BACON POTATOES:

  • I love theseasoning in this. It’s my all-purpose seasoning for oven roasting potatoes too. So, I figured it would work great with this recipe and it did not disappoint. However, you can sprinkle some RANCH DRESSING MIX or your own favorite seasoning blend if you prefer.
  • If you don’t have time to fry up bacon, you can use bacon pieces or microwaveable bacon as a substitute.

  1. Sounds so good but
All I have are russet potatoes. Can I cut them in larger slices and put on a rimmed sheet pan?

    Reply

    1. You can substitute the russet for the red potatoes in this recipe, just cut them to be about the same size. You may need to adjust the cooking time slightly.

  8. Nicole, you sure can. You would just need to cut the potatoes smaller if they are not the creamer variety. Free potatoes, I'm jealous!
